Hallmark Announces New Additions to its Eighth Annual Hallmarket Art Fair on Sept. 16 at Crown Center Square

Free event will feature personal creations from 90 Hallmark artists and employees

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (August 17, 2017) - Hallmark's eighth annual Hallmarket art fair will feature a unique selection of arts and crafts in a wide variety of media and formats, including paintings, ceramics, fabric and jewelry. The art fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 16 at Crown Center Square with 90 exhibitors featured at this year's event.

"Hallmarket is a chance to experience the creative passion that flows throughout the Hallmark community whether purchasing a piece of art, participating in a hands-on workshop or enjoying the musical talents of Hallmark employees and other local musicians," said Dean Rodenbough, Hallmark vice president of external affairs.

New attractions this year include:
• Free hands-on craft workshops from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. led by representatives from Hallmark's Think.Make.Share. creative studio blog
• Musical performances beginning at 11 a.m. featuring David Burchfield and friends, Eems and Zach Newton
• Expanded food and beverage offerings, including food trucks by
Taco Republic and Deco Street Eats
• Giveaways for following Hallmark social accounts
