Journeys encouragement cards were introduced in January 2007.

The cards are a result of a consumer insight Hallmark research uncovered — that consumers want to share support during times when they just don’t know what to say.

Hallmark artists researched the psychology of color when designing Journeys cards. They chose visually bright and uplifting colors that convey certain emotions:

Optimism (yellow)
Hope (green)
Endurance (orange)
Nurturing (pink)
Faith (blue)

Product Features

Journeys offers more than 170 encouragement cards.
The cards cover a range of general and specific sending situations, such as:
- Working through grief.
- Parenting or caring for aging parents.
- Fighting cancer.
- Being in recovery.
- Dieting.
Messages in Journeys cards range from serious to light-hearted and religious to secular.
Journeys kids cards use kid-friendly language to explore real-life situations, such as serious illness, missing you, sympathy and support.
The Journeys web site, www.hallmark.com/journeys, provides a place where people can browse through Journeys cards, share their stories, read others’ stories, and find tips to help them encourage family members and friends going through difficult times
