Stormy Brings Sunshine to Rainbow Brite™ Fans

Hallmark adds new products to its Rainbow Brite collection

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 31, 2016)— After nearly 30 years, Hallmark announces the launch of the Stormy doll, based on the treasured, feisty and tumultuous character from Rainbow Brite™, at Hallmark Gold Crown stores and on Hallmark.com.

Also launching today are plush versions of Skydancer, Stormy's purple steed, and Sunriser, the Tickled Pink steed. The release marks the first time the characters are available to the public in plush form.

A cherished friend to children of the '80s and a positive voice for kids of today, Hallmark introduced the fifth generation of toys in summer 2015 which included Rainbow Brite, her best friend Starlite and Twink. The new toys stay true to the spirit of the original Rainbow Land characters.

In addition to plush animals, the product offering continues to broaden with greeting cards, itty bittys® and Keepsake Ornaments. Rainbow Brite products now available at Hallmark Gold Crown stores and on Hallmark.com include:
